[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: A-100 line-out
[Duplicate post, the first one was cut in half AGAIN!]
Glad to be able to finally answer a question rather than just ask them!
I have an A-100 that I needed to hook up to a #130 Leslie. I hooked the
line out to the back of the preamp, using one of the "G" terminals (I used
the red one)and the BN for the ground (Be sure to use shielded cable). The
130 has an adjustable input level so I didn't have to pad the output, but I
suppose you could use a 10K pot to tame the level if you wanted to
(Preferably a multi-turn unit).
Be aware that by removing the main amp, you will also lose your reverb
(since it's driven by the main amp) Finally, I'm not sure how to get AC to
the unit, but downloading the B-3 schematics from the FAQ's will show you
where everythings hooked up. The wiring diagram shows the outlet box from a
B-3, which I think has the same connections as the back of the A-100 power
amp. Good luck!
