Workshop - Thanks

I guess I'm the last one back from Tony's Hammond Workshop and the Clone
shootout at Goff's. Without boring the other list members I would just like
to endorse the enthusiastic reports that have already appeared.

I particularly want to thank Tony for a great event and all the guys there
for their passionate interest and involvement. It was simply a blast! There
was a photo waiting for me on my computer when I returned, of myself
sitting with Joey De and Jack McDuff. Thanks to Dave Backus for thus
indulging me! Rick, I hope the snap of you at Bill Brown's B3 came out...
was hoping you would get a surprise.

Personal thanks to Al Goff for being so hospitable the previous weekend and
finding me a hotel; but particularly, for picking me up at some ungodly
Sunday hour, treating me to a great breakfast and getting me back on the
right train from "his" station. (Ask him... I guess he's a train guy!)

Special thanks (through Tony, I guess) to Stan "the gospel music man"
Spencer with whom I hung out in Chicago for a couple of days. Stan drove me
everywhere in his BAD black mercury, and (even for a non train guy!) riding
his train downtown was as real a deal for me as blasting away on his
double-leslied RT-3. A great guy, don't neglect his tapes... there is DEEP
stuff in there.

Finally, thanks to Mark ("what a piece o' work" T. La B.) and ALL on this
list for precipitating a GREAT musical and personal adventure on the other
side of the world. It frankly just wouldn't have happened without this
forum. THIS was really cyberspace come to life...

Cheers,
