and what a sound! I had to ask Jack McDuff at the Workshop about "And the
Angels Sing" from Tobacco Road. He was definitely fond of that track "Yeah,
that one came out pretty good, didn't it". The combination of his
murderously swinging approach and that "80 volt mile long" sound really
cooks for me..
