You put a little on an area, let it sit 5-15 minutes, then wipe it off. I have yet to find any sticky/gummy adhesive that didn't open up to it, including double sided bonding tape and old masking tape -- both of which can be tough to get off. It's available in hardware and home stores, and made by the Chempoint Products Company (1-800-343-6588). -BW
