[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] How to make MIDI?
Now, only a week after getting my first A-100, I am planning to make some custom operations to it... 8-) The standard Hammond bass pedal sound (that bathtub effect...) is not what I am looking for, and therefore I am planning to midifying (?) it and then use some external sound module with good bass samples. But first I have to ask what is Your opinion about this kind of operation? I want to leave the original wiring and contacts as they are and use tiny micro-switches to make new pedal contacts. I think that those are not a problem, but how about the electronics? Is there any simple and/or cheap way to make suitable controlling circuit or do I have to buy a MIDI keyboard and make an autopsy to it... Regards, J-P
