Correct spelling: Novachord. Call me at 408-972-1124. I'll tell you about it and mail you literature. 169 vacuum tubes, attack control, sustaining pedals, 500 lbs., looks like a cabinet grand with dials above keyboard, 72 notes, 72 note polyphonic; about thrty years ahead of its time.; three production runs, the last in 1942; introduced in 1939; had"field problems"; used three "resonators and a low and hi=pass filter to control timbre(resonators were electrical formants). It was the sole invention of Laurens Hammond and John Hanert. 1069 were made. Could be hooked to Hammond tone equipment(even, now, PR-40's and Leslies but had self-contained speakers and amplification. ;
