After a long battle, we are now back on line with Mastercard, Visa and
American Express.  Don't ever change banks!  My bankcard server
reprogrammed, swapped terminals, did a bunh of other "stuff" only to find
the problem was a defective "wall wart"  Seems it put out enough to light
the display, but not enough to operate.  In any event, a new one put us back
in business at last.
