Did your friend, or someone else diddle with the generator? Sounds like all of the tonewheels at the start motor end are not turning. This could be a broken coupling spring, lack of oil (unlikely), or the result of someone trying to pry the start pinion back. The missing notes are all C's. Remember the fractional drawbars. Bob S.
