[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: Should I buy a B2?
Hi, Later B2/C2's had continuos contact drawbars. They are really nice but the organ still sounds great without them. It's a drag changing sounds for sure because with the rachet style the increments of the harmonic are clearly audible. If you are creative you can work around it though. If you can get this instrument for reasonable money I wouldn't hesitate. They sound great. I believe Bob S. (please correct me if I'm wrong here!) did a bench test of a C2/B2 pre-amp and found them to be remarkably simular if not the same. I don't have the original post. maybe Bob remembers. In any case they are great sounding instruments. I'd buy one in a second. Mine are in storage this year and I really miss them. Good luck, darcy hepner
