Ed-- sounds to me like all of the tonewheels in one gallery in the generator
are not turning; possibly the end gallery on the START motor side as they are
the C's.  There can't be much else to cause this problem as the C's, etc. are
grouped together on an A-100. 

Maybe Mike, Bob or others has another idea?  I bet a new "LESLIE" Hat this is
the problem.......
