Product model changes

I've been looking for an A100 for approx 6 months, and during that time I've 
seen many of them.  I've noticed several model variations including lace 
reverb v. spring reverb and a black v. silver preamp transformer.  There may 
be others.  Does anyone know whether these (and possibly other) chnages make 
any one organ more or less desireable than another.  As I get to the end of my 
search, I wonder if the early or later organs are "better".  Thanks for the 
help.
