Just a guess... Someone probably wanted to mix and jazz up to sound on the drawbar assembly, by mixing the harmonics to the liking of their own ear. Producing some different (wierd) sounds by bringing the potential of the higher harmonics to a level something like the lower harmonics, whereas the upper harmonics have rolloff.
