[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Hum reduction with preamp pedal (a solution)
After trying many things to try to reduce the hum with my 145/combo pedal I ran a jumper from the case of the pedal to a copper piped over head-voila hum dropped way down. Swapped the two conductor ac for a three pronger and what a difference. I can't see how this can do any harm. BTW I notice both hammond and leslie amps are not shielded on one side (where they are screwed down to the wood. Has anyone tried shielding this sied with a metal plate. Any improvement? Any other thought on trying to get the noise floor down. briguy bri guy
