It is unlikely that there is a problem in the unit itself. Double check
your installation. Be sure the output lead is attached to the yellow "NON
VIB" terminal and is not pinched or crimped either at the shield on the
pre-amp, or where it goes under the drawbar base. Also make sure the solid
color wires go to wires disconnected from the drawbars and the traced wires
return to the drawbars. Be sure you have a good ground to the preset -0-
buss. This is the only ground connection and is crucial.

The output of the OTA gate (CA3080E, pin 6) goes through a .0022 cap to the
pre-amp. Normally, the output level is more than sufficient. If your taste
demands greater levels, this value could probably be increased SLIGHTLY to
say .0047. The OTA could be defective, but I suspect the percussion would
not work at all if that were the case.

If you still have a problem, I would strongly suggest you contact Mike
Smokowick at TREK II, (908) 214-9200. You'll not find a sharper Hammond
tech/engineer He is very concerned with the performance of his products and
is happy to assist with problems. He is a busy man, so be prepared with
details when you call.
