Crowes and Wallflowers and such ("hip hammond bands")

I agree!  Actually, its the "Wallflowers" and the entire album is Hammond
"powered" by a pretty decent player who I'm told founded the band.  Perhaps
the popularity of the group and their new single will bring the sound of the
Hammond back into mainstream pop airplay?  

Anyway, they remind me alot of the Black Crowes which is my favorite band
right now as long as we're on the subject. IMHO -- very cool, authentic
70s/retro/gospel/blues/rock stuff from those guys from Atlanta.   Heck, I
like that band so much I joined their fan club.. <shrug>  Never done that
before in my life... Go figure.

Could it be their cool "natural" guitar sounds or their authentic
Rhodes/Hammond/Leslie stuff?  Great records for a new generation of Hammond
lovers.

Just my two cents folks...
