[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: Can this generator be saved?
Bob, First it sounds like it has been moved in the unlocked position, that
could cause the pickup adjust bars to move in and jam the wheels. If it is
moved little, make sure that the generator is locked down for the move, if it
is moved a lot, lock and keep locked the generator just to be shure no more
damage occures. I would opt for repair of the generator, as it doesn't sound
that bad and can be either fixed simpley or fixed using the Trek ll GNR
modules, what i would be concered with is how this damage was done, and make
sure that it doesn't happen again. Did I read in a earlyer post that you had
the generator rebuilt?? If so I would be talking to that person, to find out
what he/she did to the generator to rebuild it and why were the wheel pickups
not checked, I am of course guessing that the organ was not moved from the
church after it was rebuilt.
Hope this helps, Rich
