Re: hip Christian bands with Hammonds



Another couple of good Hammond-powered Christian stuff is some of the 
older Petra stuff, with John Slick on organ and Memorymoog.  "More Power 
To Ya" and a couple other albums were really good.

Degarmo&Key had quite a bit of Hammond on some of their tunes; the "Heat 
It Up" album has some good B-3 - Eddie DeGarmo is a good player.

My own Christian band, ZBand, is currently working on a CD, and I expect 
to be tracking organ parts at the house with my good B-3/145 instead of 
my poor beat-up B2 or L-100...stay tuned!  I use synths also, but the 
Hammond is my main axe.  

We hope to have the project finished sooner or later, hopefully sooner 
than later.  ;-)
