[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] horn sections
I played for two years in a great 8 piece R&B group called the Jailbreakers from Omaha, Ne. The three horn players (trpt. tenor, bari) were some of the finest in the business. I don't miss them at all. Having a horn section is great but incredibly restrictive, in my opinion. Nothing beats a nice quartet as far as arrangements on the fly or spur of the moment changes goes. My opinion only. Mitch T V3/O1W/Rhodes/M3/Isuzu Pick-up/Stella - cat with thumbs
