(Yeah, it's a little odd sometimes how my mind remembers small details!): You need to change a resistor from 750 ohms to 330 ohms. It's R158 on older V3's, R159 on newer ones. (My V3 is about a year old, and is condsidered a "newer" one.) Rather than change the resistor, I added a 560 ohm in parallel with the 750, giving 321 total ohms for the two elements. I think Dave Amels said they use a 620 at the factory, giving 339 ohms. Use whichever you can get you hands on. Your ears won't hear the difference; it's only 0.5dB. -BW -- Bruce A.
