Would it be possible to convince Hammond Suzuki to make a model of the XB2 with an extruded aluminum bottom and the rest of the cabinet of black plastic with a woodgrain pattern? This would look really cool and be a heck of a lot lighter. In fact, is there any way to lighten up an XB2? I'd give it a Slimfast if it would do it any good! ---------- : From: John Pittas <jjp@mink.mt.att.com> : To: hammond@zk3.dec.com : Subject: peeling XB-2 exterior : Date: Tuesday, April 01, 1997 10:37 AM : : The cheap fake wood exterior of my XB-2 is starting to peel and tear : badly after a few years on the road. It's beyond repair by simply : glueing it back, as there are pieces missing. Has anyone else had : this problem (and solved it)? Can I get the fake veneer stuff from : Hammond-Suzuki? What's the best glue to use to keep this stuff down? : Any help/ideas would be appreciated. TIA. : : John (whose C-3 finish is just fine, thank you :-)
