Cute. Have you ever seen the interior of an 860? It doesn't appear to be
as easy as you say, at least not last night in the dimly lit recording
studio where I first noticed the problem. Everything is so tight in that
cabinet, and there only way in is from the back. I had a hard time
fitting my hands in there, much less a screwdriver with ample
leverage... also, it looks like I'm going to need to remove the motor to
get the belt out of there, not just the speaker.

As far as mechanical ability goes... I'm no tech, but at the same time,
I'm no idiot. I just don't know my way around Hammonds and Leslies too
well yet.

I've got a Hohner Marine Band on standby, just in case this whole
Hammond thing doesn't work out...
